Konstruktion und Material
Der Verband besteht aus einem äusseren Polyurethanfilm, der eine kontrollierte Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit gewährleistet. Die Polyurethanschaumstoffschicht nimmt überschüssiges Wundexsudat auf, während die gelbildende AQUACEL-Schicht das Exsudat schnell aufnimmt und sicher im Verband einschliesst. Zusätzlich sind Natrium-carboxymethylcellulose und Silikon verarbeitet, um eine schonende Wundheilung zu fördern.
Anwendungsgebiete
Der AQUACEL Foam Verband eignet sich zur Behandlung von oberflächlichen und tiefen Wunden. Er kann sowohl in der Kompressionstherapie als auch in der Reinigungsphase eingesetzt werden. Die nicht-adhäsive Eigenschaft ermöglicht einen schmerzarmen Verbandwechsel und angenehmen Tragekomfort.
