Produktaufbau und Materialien
Die Wundauflage besteht aus einem wasserabweisenden Polyurethanfilm, der die Wunde effektiv schützt. Das weiche, saugfähige Polyurethan-Schaumstoffkissen nimmt Exsudat auf und enthält Silberionen, welche antibakteriell wirken. Ein hautfreundlicher Silikonhaftrand sorgt für sicheren Halt ohne die Haut zu schädigen.
Anwendungsgebiete
Das AQUACEL Ag Foam wird zur Behandlung von Wunden eingesetzt, um eine Vielzahl von Bakterien, inklusive MRSA und VRE, abzutöten. Es minimiert Toträume, schützt den Wundrand vor Mazeration und schliesst Exsudat sicher ein – auch unter Druck.
