Ce générateur est équipé d’un moteur diesel AKSA modèle A4CRX21 délivrant 16,7 kW (22,4 ch) à 1500 tr/min. Il s'agit d'un moteur 4 cylindres en ligne, quatre temps, refroidi par eau forcée avec injection directe.
